Education is a vehicle. I endured  some real challenges as a child, and I would never have made it out successfully without my teachers. For me, education was a vehicle out of poverty and childhood trauma. Education has allowed me to study abroad in Mexico, to teach in Arizona and Hawai'i, and to act as a cultural ambassador in Malaysia. Without my teachers, who knows what would have become of me. As an educator, I find my passion in those places where I can truly make a difference. I strive to be that teacher who helps students to find their vehicle and acheive their potential.
